NeuroFin Inc. operates a SaaW business automation platform where registered business users send SMS messages containing business needs and requests. Our AI processes these requests and creates structured business records, then sends confirmation SMS summarizing what was created. This policy explains how SMS consent is collected and managed. Additionally, we use SMS for one-time password (OTP) verification codes. Users who link their phone number in Account Settings consent to receive verification codes for secure login authentication.
How Consent is Collected
SMS consent is collected during account registration when users sign up for NeuroFin's platform. Users authorize their phone number for SMS-based features through:
- Web-Based Signup: Users explicitly consent to SMS features during account creation
- Phone Number Authorization: Users provide and verify their mobile number to enable SMS functionality
- Explicit Opt-In: Clear consent checkbox or acknowledgment of SMS terms during registration
- Account Settings: Users can manage SMS preferences and opt-out at any time from their account dashboard
Sample Opt-In Language
During account registration, users see compliant opt-in language such as:
"I agree to use the SMS-based automatic assistant to create business records via text message. I understand that I will receive confirmation messages summarizing tasks I submit. Message and data rates may apply. I can opt out at any time by replying STOP."
Or for verbal consent:
"Would you like to enable SMS-based business record creation? You can text requests to our AI assistant and receive confirmation messages. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP."
No Third-Party Sharing of Consent Data
We do NOT sell, share, or transfer customer opt-in consent data to third parties.
Customer consent information belongs exclusively to the client business that collected it and is used solely for that business's transactional messaging purposes. NeuroFin does not:
- Sell customer phone numbers or consent records
- Share opt-in data with advertisers or marketing companies
- Transfer consent between different client businesses
- Use customer data for our own marketing purposes
- Provide customer contact information to any third party without explicit legal requirement
Consent Management System
Our platform manages consent through:
- Record Keeping: All consent records are stored per client business with timestamp and method of collection
- Opt-Out Processing: Automatic processing of STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, and similar keywords
- Suppression Lists: Maintained per client to ensure opted-out customers don't receive further messages

Note: All messages are transactional and service-related. We do not send promotional marketing or unsolicited advertisements.
Opt-Out Instructions

- Replying STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT to any message
- Contacting the business directly to request removal

Opt-out requests are processed immediately and automatically. Customers will receive a confirmation message and will not receive further SMS messages from that business.
TCPA Compliance
Our SMS messaging practices comply with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA):
- Prior Express Consent: Required before any message is sent
- Transactional Purpose: Messages are service-related, not promotional
- Clear Sender ID: Every message identifies the sending business
- Opt-Out Mechanism: Simple, immediate, and free for recipients
- Time Restrictions: No messages sent between 9pm-8am recipient local time
- Record Retention: Consent documentation retained per legal requirements
Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on how often users submit SMS requests. Users receive one confirmation message per submission. Typical frequency depends on user activity.
Standard message and data rates may apply based on the user's mobile carrier plan.
Client Business Responsibilities
Businesses using our platform agree to:
- Obtain proper consent before adding customers to their messaging list
- Use our provided templates or equivalent compliant opt-in language
- Maintain their own consent documentation
- Only message customers with whom they have an established business relationship
- Respect opt-out requests immediately
- Use messaging only for transactional/service purposes, not unsolicited marketing
Platform Safeguards
We protect against messaging abuse through:
- Client vetting during onboarding process
- Message template review and approval
- Automated compliance checks
- Volume monitoring and anomaly detection
- Account suspension for policy violations
- Regular compliance audits
Customer Rights
Customers who receive SMS messages through our platform have the right to:
